The problem it solves ## Target of MetaCinema 🎯. With the rise of the OTT era, People gradually have shifted their interest towards watching movies at ease from their homes. Even while watching movies is fun, we still miss the theatric experience that we get while visiting our local theatres. Thus, we made *MetaCinema*, an app that bridges the gap between reality and the virtual experience of watching your favorite cinema. MetaCinema is connected to a Layer 2 Ethereum Chain **Polygon** which allows users to have a hassle-free experience and doesn't require them to wait in long queues to have a successful payment. It uses **LivePeer** as the streaming service that aids us from streaming our users. With all these features, we can't expect users to pay hefty gas fees, we decided to integrate bionomy gasless for the purpose. MetaCinema uses **Three.js** a javascript library that gives users access to 3D worlds which are customized to their tastes.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into ## Few Challenges we ran into🚧 As a team specializing in frontend technologies, Concepts of Web3 and Three.Js were completely new for all of us. We were able to gain immense knowledge in web3 and Three.js domains. We were startled by bugs at almost every part of our development phase just like every other developer. We spent most of our time learning technologies like web3, truffle, ganache, solidity. Spent time on learning to optimize storage for solidity.
