    About

The problem it solves Buying or selling an online business today means wiring money to a stranger and hoping they hold up their end. There's no standard process, no neutral custody, and no verifiable record of what was agreed or transferred. **Meridian solves the trust and coordination problem on both sides of the deal:** - Sellers can't verify a buyer has funds before sharing sensitive financials: Meridian gates data room access behind a proof-of-funds check on-chain before any financials are disclosed - Buyers have no guarantee the seller will transfer the asset after payment, so funds are held in a 2-of-3 threshold escrow account on Hedera; the seller cannot access them until the buyer confirms delivery and co-signs the release - Disputes are handled by a platform operator who holds the third key in the multisig, with full authority to release or refund without either party's co-operation - Every milestone from escrow creation, deposit, NFT transfer, to release is written as an immutable HCS topic, giving both parties a tamper-proof audit trail they can point to independently of the platform Use of AI tools and agents We used Claude Code and Gemini for speeding up development. The project itself does not rely on any AI tooling.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into We ran into some issues with **ScheduleCreateTransaction** and the difference between outer/inner transaction signatures; ended up figuring out that we need to call **ScheduleSignTransaction** a second time, but this took a hilariously long time for us to figure out!
