The problem it solves MemoryChain solves the problem that survivors’ stories from climate disasters are often temporary, fragmented, or erased due to political bias, media attention shifts, or loss of records, by creating a permanent, decentralized archive where these memories are stored on the blockchain, protected from censorship, and accessible to future generations, while also enabling transparent global support through donations.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Challenges we faced; Integrating HTML and JavaScript – While the frontend pages worked individually, getting them to share data and interact seamlessly was difficult without a backend or database. Image Upload Difficulties – Handling image submissions was challenging due to browser security restrictions and the need for decentralized storage integration (e.g., IPFS), which we could not fully implement within the time frame.
