Meebu
An expressive no-code governance platform for digital communities
Demo
About
The problem it solves Current on-chain governance systems are largely reliant on one-token-one-vote models. But thriving communities are composed of many different classes of participants, each of whom brings unique skillsets and contributions. Governance systems, therefore, should be capable of reflecting the collective community voice. Meebu allows digital communities to move beyond the one-token-one-vote model, providing an easy-to-use platform for communities to launch expressive governance frameworks that are truly representative of a community's diverse participants. With Meebu, choose any voting system (simple majority, ranked choice, quadratic voting etc.), mixed with any combination of voting inputs and weights (ERC20, NFTs, POAPs, etc.), to trigger any on-chain smart contract call.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Front-end and UX; we're not designers by training. It was challenging to find the right UI to communicate a diverse governance framework that can be used by community managers with little to no code experience. We had to adjust the scope since our initial idea was a tad too ambitious. Getting test-net Ether was also not the best experience, since we had to deploy on Ethereum Sepolia, Base Sepolia, and Arbitrum Sepolia.
