    Medichain

Medichain transforms medical data into RWA assets.

    About

The problem it solves Medichain addresses the fragmentation and insecurity of traditional healthcare data management. Currently, medical records are scattered across different institutions, leaving patients with no central access and doctors with incomplete medical histories. How it makes tasks easier & safer: - Eliminates Data Fragmentation: Patients no longer need to carry physical files or repeat tests. Medichain provides a single, portable health identity (SBT) that consolidates records from multiple hospitals into one accessible dashboard. - True Patient Ownership: Unlike traditional systems where hospitals "own" the data, Medichain gives patients full control. They can grant or revoke access to any doctor with custom expiration timers, ensuring privacy is maintained. - Enhanced Security & Verifiability: By using blockchain and IPFS, records are encrypted and decentralized. This eliminates "single point of failure" risks and ensures that medical data cannot be tampered with or forged. - Automated Data Entry: The integration of AI (Google Gemini OCR) allows hospitals to instantly digitize physical documents. This reduces human error and speeds up the administrative process during emergencies. - Seamless Interoperability: It bridges the gap between different healthcare providers using standardized ICD-10 codes, making it easier for doctors to understand a patient’s history regardless of where the previous treatment occurred. - Gasless UX: By utilizing ERC2771 meta-transactions, the system removes the complexity of blockchain. Users can interact with the app without needing to hold or understand cryptocurrency, making decentralized tech accessible to everyone.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into - There are logic development bottlenecks within the hospital section of the smart contract. - Defining the key unique selling points (USPs) of the project. - Establishing the team meeting schedule. - Learning how medical record works
