Lonesome Mountain Inn
A Cozy DAO (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/YY3GhMcy6Lc)
About
The problem it solves Makes DAO interaction streamlined and easy for the consumer. User Interaction and Data Flow Meant to mimic the mobile indie game Reigns (https://www.reignsgame.com/reigns), users interact with a DAO by only a simple swipe. Thus makes DAO's a mobile based consumer level product. The project architecture and development process This project is meant to show the delicous mix of Unity + AOS (Arweave Operating System). Unity is a 3D game engine and it loads in the Wander wallet (https://www.wander.app/download). While this may seem trivial, the game engine itself is distilled down into a WASM enviornment and hosted on Arweave. Making it an example of a decentralized Unity Game Engine using the power of Arweave. On the backend, Unity is able to not only be hosted in a decentralized enviornment but communicate with a decentralized database on AO, creating one of the first examples of a pure decentralized gameing DAO. Product Integrations Arweave, AOS (https://cookbook_ao.arweave.net/), AI (https://github.com/permaweb/aos-llama) and Unity Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project While everything was made by a single developer, the thing that makes Lonely Mountain Inn unique is that it's not only a decentralized game engine, but also a streamlined DAO. This allows for user adoption Web3 desperately needs. Trade-offs and shortcuts while building The main tradeoff is that I could not find a team to buidl with. Because of this I was forced to go it alone and bring concept, design, programming, technical expertise, and execution alone. :( Also I had to scale the Chrome browser version height to fit into the Wander mobile wallet. This creates a mixed experience for users (scroll down the page on browsers). Additional Features Everthing from art, concept and development, was developed during the buidl hackathon. I have video and source files to prove this.
