    About

The problem it solves In the Farcaster ecosystem, popular channels like "Food Channel" are vibrant hubs of content but lack a direct, interactive utility. They exist as static feeds of images and posts, creating a repository of information that remains largely untapped. This leaves a significant problem for users who are overwhelmed by choice, especially when it comes to a simple, daily decision like what to eat for lunch. LaunchLunch addresses this by transforming a passive content channel into an active, decision-making tool. It leverages the vast, existing data within the Farcaster Food Channel to solve a tangible user problem: decision fatigue and the repetition of daily meals. By turning this unorganized content into a structured database, LaunchLunch provides a new, meaningful way to engage with the Farcaster ecosystem. Smart Contract Address(es) 0x21992A7a1bD7Cd08f06594D37A9A85409E1d58F2 Other Onchain Proof The core LaunchLunch app contract, which handles the logic for NFT minting and raffle mechanics, has been successfully deployed. This proves our project's commitment to the Base ecosystem from day one.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into The Bug: After a user spun the wheel, the animation would complete, but the Chart.js canvas component would randomly become unclickable or unresponsive. This meant the user couldn't spin the wheel a second time. We couldn't figure out why this was happening at first, as all our state and event handlers seemed correct.
