    LandingPay

LandingPay lets you effortlessly create stunning payment pages and securely collect crypto payments, donations, tips, presales, you name it. With its simplicity, anybody can use it to collect and pay.

    About

The problem it solves The entire project aims to help anyone build a simple landing page to collect payments or donations in cryptocurrency. To create a crypto payment page, it is necessary to address various challenges: - **Usability**: The final user may not be familiar with cryptocurrencies or wallets, so the payment process should be straightforward; - **Accessibility**: The page should be usable for as many people as possible; - **Security**: Users should always be protected against fraudulent transactions; - **Wallet Integration**: The page should be able to connect to different wallets and correctly handle the transactions. LandingPay will automatically take care of all these problems, leaving only simple customizations for the user. Payment pages will be easy to use and accessible. Final users will be able to connect to a Smart Wallet or traditional wallets and perform transactions safely. ### Returning Users When a user has already completed a payment on LandingPay and the wallet is still connected, the payment process can be started with a single click, making it even more convenient. ### Framed UX Dropping the link to a payment page in a Farcaster cast or a direct cast will result in an even simpler Framed UX. In this case, the wallet connection is handled by the Farcaster client, requiring only a single click to start the payment. ### Keep Building During the initial implementation phase, the primary goal was to build the simplest and most accessible UX. Numerous ideas for new improvements are ready to be implemented. Some examples include: - **Dynamic Pages**: By building an API, developers can integrate LandingPay into existing payment processes; - **Mnemonic Links**: Providing the option to choose a slug for the payment page instead of a random string; - **Subscriptions**: Offering the opportunity to schedule payments on a weekly or monthly basis; - **Dashboard**: A place where different payment pages can be managed and payments reviewed.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into The biggest problem I encountered while building the project was the lack of feedback. I used Farcaster as a distribution medium, posting weekly on the base-builders channel and asking for feedback in private groups. Over time, I started receiving some feedback, particularly on my communication style and on UX simplicity. I had the opportunity to collect more feedback in real life, showing the project to non-crypto natives. Since these users are more suitable for the product, their feedback was more useful and helped me build an even simpler UX. Lastly, I started a channel on Farcaster, /landingpay. It is a place to collect payment pages and collaborate. I hope it will be useful for many people and help build a bigger community around LandingPay.
