Learn regional languages in a trusted way
Demo
About
The problem it solves Indonesia has hundreds of regional languages that are still used in daily life, but there is **no structured and credible way** for outsiders to learn them. For people who move between regions like students and workers, language gaps often create: - Miscommunication in everyday interactions - Social friction and exclusion - A persistent feeling of being an “outsider” in a new community Today, learning usually depends on luck: local friends, long immersion, or unstructured online content. Even when someone makes a real effort, the outcome is **hard to measure** and **impossible to prove** to others.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into - **Choosing the right ERC standards:** Determining how to use Soulbound tokens for non-transferable learning credentials and ERC-1155 for redeemable utilities required careful consideration of responsibilities and scope. - **Limited provider support on Lisk Sepolia:** Some commonly used third-party providers were not yet fully usable or stable on Lisk Sepolia, which limited certain integrations during development. - **Heavy reliance on direct RPC calls:** Early implementations used direct RPC calls even for simple on-chain data, which increased complexity on the frontend. - **Implementing newly learned technologies:** The project involved applying concepts that were recently learned, including Soulbound Tokens, ERC-1155, and email-based login while abstracting blockchain complexity from users.
