    Kaizen

Real-Time Threat Intelligence for Smart Contracts.

    Demo

    About

The problem it solves Kaizen solves the critical latency gap in smart contract security. Most security systems are reactive exploits are detected only after transactions are finalized and funds are already lost. Protocol teams lack real-time behavioral visibility to identify coordinated attacks such as flash-loan exploits, oracle manipulation, or liquidity drains before execution. Kaizen provides real-time threat detection and autonomous mitigation within the same block window. By continuously analyzing on-chain behavioral signals and scoring contract risk using machine learning, it can trigger conditional defensive actions like kill-switch transactions or access enforcement. This shifts security from post-incident monitoring to proactive execution-time defense, reducing financial loss, response time, and operational overhead for on-chain protocols.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into A key challenge while building Kaizen was maintaining consistent real-time monitoring during periods of high on-chain activity. The initial pipeline processed block data synchronously fetching logs, deriving behavioral features, sending them for scoring, and then triggering alerts. This worked under normal conditions but became slow and unreliable during stress testing when blocks contained a large number of contract interactions. Sequential RPC calls created noticeable delays in scoring and alert generation. To fix this, I refactored the system into a simple event-driven pipeline where block events are queued and processed by independent workers in parallel. I also optimized RPC usage by batching and parallelizing requests. This improved responsiveness and made the monitoring flow more stable during activity spikes.
