The problem it solves - Trust Solution: Our application acts as a reliable intermediary, fostering trust between unknown parties during transactions by providing an escrow system. - Security Measures: Implementing a secure Solidity smart contract, we ensure protection against fraudulent activities and guarantee both parties' fulfillment of obligations. - Decentralized Escrow: Unlike traditional services, our DEFI TRACK application offers a decentralized escrow service using blockchain technology, removing intermediaries, biases, and additional costs for a trustless environment.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into - Not being able to set up the solidity on our local machine. Learned to use hardhat and how nodejs requires administrator access for a few scripts. - Deploying the smart contract, there were many difficult ways in front of us until we found QuickNode, It made deployment of the smart contract easier. - Connecting the smart contract with our Next.js application. - Refactoring and redeploying our smart contract multiple times while developing the front end.
