About
The problem it solves ## Problem 1: High Risk in High FDV Tokens Many retail investors are hesitant to engage in high Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) tokens due to their volatility and the associated high risks, which often deter investment despite the potential for high returns. The fear of significant losses can keep investors away from potentially lucrative opportunities. ### Solution The IXO Protocol mitigates these risks by introducing a groundbreaking trading model where every transaction is backed by guarantors. This model ensures that investors can participate in high FDV token investments without fearing the loss of their principal. Guarantors commit to purchasing back the tokens if specific conditions are not met, providing a safety net that traditional investment models lack. ## Problem 2: Inadequate Compensation for Intangible Assets In traditional investment frameworks, investors primarily focus on direct monetary returns. Intangible assets such as intellectual property, reputation, and goodwill, which hold substantial potential value, are often overlooked and not quantified as part of the investment returns. ### Solution IXO Protocol uniquely addresses this by facilitating an investment environment where intangible assets are valued and compensated. Our model allows investors to receive returns not only in the form of capital gains but also as dividends from the intangible assets accrued through their investments. For instance, guarantors who back the transactions not only share in the financial profits but also enhance their reputational standing and goodwill among the investor community. This dual-return system makes IXO an attractive platform for those looking to invest in assets that provide both tangible and intangible returns.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Our core feature design was quite complex, requiring extensive discussions during the initial product design phase to ensure the rationality of the tri-party mechanism and the specific user logic. We spent a significant amount of time refining the user experience by iterating on prototypes. Additionally, there were numerous adjustments made to the smart contract design to achieve the desired functionality and performance.
