InstaPod
From prompt to podcast, instantly.
About
The problem it solves ### InstaPod creates **Snackable** Audio for the Social Media Age * **The Problem:** Audience attention spans are shrinking. Long-form content can be difficult to consume, and creating short, engaging clips for social media (like Reels, Shorts, or TikToks) is a norm. * **The InstaPod Solution:** InstaPod is built for the modern attention economy. It natively generates **1-minute or less mini podcast episodes** on any prompt. The built-in **audio player and download functionality** make it frictionless to share these clips across any platform, increasing reach and engagement. ### What Can People Use It For? * **Hobbyists & Casual Users:** To share thoughts on a topic they're passionate about, create a fun audio message for a friend, or simply experiment with AI-powered creation. * **Educators & Students:** To summarize complex topics, explain concepts in an engaging conversational format, or create quick study guides. * **Businesses & Marketers:** To produce quick product updates, explain features, share industry news, or create branded audio snippets for marketing campaigns. In essence, **InstaPod makes audio creation as easy as sending a text message**, opening up a new world of possibilities for instant, accessible, and engaging content. Smart Contract Address(es) N/A
How it's made
Challenges we ran into ### The Challenge User podcast history was showing empty even though data existed in the **Upstash Redis** database. ### The Bug The error logs revealed: **"[object Object]" is not valid JSON** This indicated that Upstash Redis was auto-deserializing JSON data, which meant our code was trying to parse already-parsed objects. ### The Solution I implemented flexible parsing that handles both string and object data.
