About
The problem it solves 🧩 **Problem: Indie developers lose revenue to platform fees** → Launch your game with 0% royalty cuts. → Full control over your game → Keep 100% of your earnings → Deploy and scale without middlemen 🎨 **Problem: Game asset creators struggle to monetize** → Mint and sell your own NFTs. → Create characters, weapons, or lore items → Set royalties for every resale → Build your IP within a shared universe 💸 **Problem: NFTs sit idle, offering no utility** → Rent NFTs for passive income. → Lease out rare or unused assets → Let new players access premium gear → Earn without selling your collection 🕹️ **Problem: Players don’t truly own the games they buy** → Buy games with true digital ownership. → Transferable access rights → Unlockable perks through NFTs → No DRM, no loss of access 🌱 **Problem: Most ecosystems don’t reward community** → A player-owned, creator-first economy. → Transparent, on-chain participation
How it's made
Challenges we ran into ### Challenges Faced **ERC-721 Limitations** Initially used ERC-721, but couldn't override all transfer functions. This left potential for misuse, so I had to build a custom contract to fully control ownership logic. To mention there is a standard out there that let users assign as temporary user. but it wont transfer the ownership so in that way even if rented people can take advantage of both renting fee and using their own nft for purpose **High Fee Bug in NFT Renting** Encountered an issue where renting an NFT triggered unexpectedly high fees. Tracked it down to contract address behavior and resolved it after debugging deployment logic. **Forge Development Experience** Started with Foundry (Forge), but its CLI-based approach made testing inefficient. Long commands and lack of a UI led me to seek better tools for contract iteration. **Chainlink Function Latency** Chainlink Functions worked but were slow—especially when writing metadata externally. It affected UX and delayed end-to-end execution. **as in the end it wasn't a userfriendly experience i have to trim this feature down** **Lack of Temporary Ownership Standards** Existing NFT standards don’t support temporary/full ownership delegation. This gap indicated the need for a new standard tailored to such use cases. **Chainlink VRF Gas Costs** VRF randomness was reliable but introduced high on-chain costs, making it hard to scale for frequent usage.
