About
The problem it solves The Web3 ecosystem is dominated by English, which creates a barrier when builders and organizations try to connect with LATAM. Although Spanish is the third most spoken language worldwide, it only represents six percent of online content limiting collaboration, trust, and opportunities. Current language apps (like Duolingo or Babbel) are not designed for Web3: they don’t provide live practice, they don’t integrate with events, and they don’t offer verifiable credentials. This leaves Web3 builders without an efficient way to learn Spanish in a way that is practical and trusted. GOGA solves this by making Spanish learning on-chain, gamified, and verifiable. Users can connect their wallet, join live missions (like ordering coffee or taking a taxi), and mint certificates as Soulbound Tokens. This makes learning easier, safer, and relevant for the Web3 ecosystem especially for global events like Devconnect, where participants need a real way to connect with Spanish-speaking communities. How it's made
Challenges we ran into Our biggest challenge was not technical, but human: putting ourselves in the user’s shoes. We wanted GOGA to be user-friendly, intuitive, and something people would truly use not just another Web3 demo. To solve this, we ran surveys and tested the app with a sample of final users, gathering feedback and iterating on the design. Balancing Web3 complexity (wallets, contracts, certificates) with a smooth learning experience required constant adjustment, but it made us resilient. The result is an app shaped by real users, proving that GOGA is not only possible, but practical and engaging.
