    gioMINT

AI-powered NFT minter for all RWAs on Base!

    About

The problem it solves gioMINT makes NFT creation accessible to all—not just tech experts—by using AI to turn real-world assets (RWAs) like a sleek watch, a bright beautiful opal, a tennis bracelet, a vintage car, a painting, or jewelry into onchain NFTs on Base. It tokenizes receipts, certificates (e.g., GIA certs), appraisals, legal documents, and contracts to bind ownership with unbreakable security. Personal insurance companies will one day demand this—blockchaining all valuables to prevent denied claims without onchain proof—but the possibilities stretch far beyond. Jewelry companies can verify opals, dealers can authenticate cars, and sellers of any RWA can prove legitimacy. It’s endless: collateral for loans, brokerages tracking assets, even pawnshops securing goods. gioMINT enables insurance for a car’s value or an opal’s brilliance, proves a painting’s provenance, and future-proofs asset protection. No coding needed—upload a photo, document, or description, and the AI mints an NFT. It’s fun, creative, and trustworthy, revolutionizing how non-coders own and insure assets. User Interaction and Data Flow Users visit the gioMINT webpage and type a request and upload a photo of an RWA (e.g., a watch, painting, and receipt/certificate). The AI suggests NFT details—like “Bright Opal #1” or “Rolex Watch”—if needed. Coinbase Wallet pops up to confirm the transaction on Base using test ETH. The NFT mints via a smart contract and appears in the wallet, binding ownership or value (e.g., for insurance or collateral). Data flows from user input to AI suggestions, through Web3.js to the blockchain, securing assets onchain. The project architecture and development process gioMINT is a webpage we made to mint NFTs for stuff like opals and watches, built for our first BUIDLathon at ETHDenver 2025. We used https://base.org to host it, making NFTs fast and safe. We wrote a simple rulebook (giomint.sol) with Solidity and set it up using https://hardhat.org. Our site (Home.tsx) uses JavaScript and React for a fun look with dark blue and neon green, linking to https://base.org via https://www.coinbase.com/developer-platform for wallet safety. We tested it with fake money on Base during the BUIDLathon, keeping it easy to use. Product Integrations This is our first time building at a BUIDLathon like ETHDenver 2025! We used these websites to make gioMINT work: https://base.org: Runs our NFT minting, keeping it fast and safe. https://www.coinbase.com/developer-platform: Adds Coinbase Wallet so users can mint NFTs securely. Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project gioMINT is a fun, easy way to turn opals or watches into NFTs—no tech skills needed! We made a webpage that’s simple to use, running on https://base.org to keep it zippy and safe. Using the chat helper from https://www.coinbase.com/developer-platform, we made minting super easy—no need for users to fill out 12 confusing sections they might not get. It lets you mint and secure your treasures in seconds, keeping it friendly and fast. Other NFT tools we tried need lots of steps—ours chats with you, making it friendlier and more fun, like unlocking a digital treasure. Trade-offs and shortcuts while building Building gioMINT was fun, interesting, and a little challenging, but rewarding! We skipped fancier features because they took too long, sticking to what we could do. Our chat helper gives basic ideas, we plan to make it cooler later, maybe adding tips or more fun stuff. Additional Features We started gioMINT fresh on Monday, February 24, at the BUIDLathon—it’s been a blast building at ETHDenver 2025! We made a fun webpage to mint NFTs for treasures like opals and watches, with a chat helper suggesting neat ideas, like “Opal Glow,” using https://www.coinbase.com/developer-platform for safe Coinbase Wallet minting and testing on https://base.org with fake money. Everything—chat, wallet, and all—was created during the event, and if we had more time, we’d add even more fun features!
