About
The problem it solves Losing weight is challenging. Both Leal and I successfully lost over 20kg each since early 2024 through self-accountability, but we didn't utilize Web3 technologies. This experience inspired us to put on our builder hats and harness the power of Web3 to enhance accountability. The [oracles.fit](https://oracles.fit) app serves multiple purposes: - **Extreme Accountability**: users can track their weight loss journey transparently and immutably by recording their progress onchain. - **Weight Oracle**: we used a Withings scale integration to fetch real weight data. - **Community Rewards**: through token distribution rounds (using rounds.wtf), we're fostering a community of like-minded individuals committed to their health goals. We used $BUILD tokens for this initial experiment. - **Incentivizing Progress**: we're introducing $GETFIT tokens to reward users who consistently keep themselves accountable, adding a motivational financial incentive. Token to be launched.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into We over-complicated the user journey at the start. As we progressed forward we started to cut down clutter and make things simpler.
