11% APY through giving out more lending power

    About

The problem it solves **check the google slides presentation for further details** **also technical docs here: https://fundup.vercel.app/about & smart contracts with yield donating strategy can be found within the github repo** **FundUp** turns idle crypto assets into recurring public-goods by routing Octant v2 vault deposits through **Twyne**, which earns yield *by renting out the unused borrowing power of collateral*, so the underlying assets never move and can’t be liquidated. This provides real, stable yield **(around ~11% APY) without adding principal risk**. FundUp then lets users direct that yield to community-voted projects, making ongoing support simple, automated, and cost-free for the donor.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into I struggled at first with Octant’s documentation, it assumes a strong DeFi background, so understanding the yield flow and epoch logic took longer than expected. I ended up reading the contracts directly and testing on a local devnet to piece things together. Given how important Octant is for public-goods funding, I think clearer onboarding examples and simpler integration guides would help more builders get involved faster.
