    Fighter Cash

Fighter Cash is a Boxing / UFC betting platform on Base Chain where users can place bets in USDC on fighters, with winnings distributed proportionally.

    About

The problem it solves "Fighter Cash" is a Boxing + UFC fight betting game designed to provide an engaging and transparent platform for enthusiasts to bet on UFC fights using USDC as the betting currency. The project aims to address several key problems in traditional betting platforms: Transparency and Fairness: The project ensures transparency by recording all bets and results on a blockchain-based smart contract. This eliminates the potential for manipulation or fraud often associated with traditional betting systems. Security: By leveraging blockchain technology, Fighter Cash enhances security by storing all transactions immutably on the blockchain, reducing the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access. Accessibility: The project allows participants to place bets with as little as 1 USDC, making it accessible to a wider audience of UFC fans who may not have access to traditional high-stakes betting platforms. Dispute Resolution: In case of canceled fights or result disputes, the protocol ensures that participants are fairly compensated or refunded, maintaining trust and integrity within the betting community. The importance of these problems lies in creating a trustworthy and user-friendly environment for sports betting enthusiasts. Traditional betting platforms often lack transparency, charge high fees, and are prone to disputes and fraud. Fighter Cash aims to disrupt this by offering a decentralized and secure betting experience. Our team believes we are well-equipped to solve these problems due to our expertise in blockchain technology, smart contract development, and a deep understanding of the sports betting industry. We prioritize user experience, security, and fairness in our design and implementation, making Fighter Cash a reliable and innovative solution for UFC fight betting.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into I struggled the most with perfecting the logic of distributing rewards (winnings) proportionately (of user's deposit), and rechecked the math several times. I plan to use funds that I win from hackathon to get a professional audit and mainly invest in security and development.
