The problem it solves ### The problem it solves Fantasy Premier League is fun and competitive, but it has a big flaw: if you can’t commit for the whole season, you quickly fall behind and lose motivation. Many players abandon their teams after just a few gameweeks, which reduces long-term engagement. This is why I built Fantasy Manager League **(FML)**. By breaking the season into shorter “mini-seasons,” players can jump in and out without penalty, keeping the game flexible and fresh. It allows both casual and dedicated fans to participate meaningfully, while rewarding managers and predictors in shorter cycles. In doing so, FML lowers the barrier to entry and makes the experience more engaging for everyone. While there hasn’t been a lot of activity yet beyond users testing the functions, they currently power the core logic of FML. How it's made

Challenges we ran into ### Challenges I ran into One major challenge was figuring out how to engage users and build a community flywheel that keeps people coming back. Beyond just keeping FML fresh with mini-seasons, I explored how this flywheel could extend to other mini app developers on Base app or Farcaster. By letting them integrate their own ERC-20 tokens into specific mini-seasons, FML can create both added value and recognition for projects that community members might never have heard of before. On the technical side, I ran into multiple hurdles. One was understanding and implementing **Merkle proofs** correctly in the smart contract, along with integrating **EIP-712 signatures** between the contract and the frontend. Another was figuring out how to technically connect a user from **Base app or Farcaster** to their existing **Fantasy Premier League account** and designing the flow for that connection. I overcame these challenges by doing deep research, experimenting, and reaching out for help from the Farcaster community, which gave me valuable insights to push through the implementation.
