    About

The problem it solves In the current digital landscape, there are limited options for truly anonymous interactions and the available ones do not support other media types except from text. Existing platforms often compromise user privacy, lack robust media handling capabilities, and need to provide sufficient control over the visibility of shared content.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into We experienced many problems when buidling the project actually; 1. Firstly when giving a cap for the maximum file size uploadable, we wanted to give the user enough freedom to upload big files but we didnt want to give so much that a worse case scenario will be detremental to the platform What we did: We calculated and estimated how much max allowable size will be just right for most users while being able to handle a worst case scenario (when everybody uploads only max size data files). 2. During testing it was noticed that OTP wasnt being received early by users who signup and it was weird because our mail transport delivered the mail on time and when the mail eventually reaches the user, gmail marks its sending time to be what it is despite the delay. What we did: we edited our htlmx for the mail to enable gmail verify every mail as not spam.
