About
The problem it solves ### *The Problem:* Web3 games often face challenges like: - *User Acquisition and Retention:* Difficulty in attracting and keeping players engaged without heavy marketing costs. - *Lack of Organic Growth:* Absence of built-in viral elements leading to slow expansion. - *Unsustainable In-Game Economies:* Poorly designed economies that fail to motivate ongoing player participation. ### *The Value Add of Dante's Circles and the Virality Framework:* *Dante's Circles, built upon the **Virality Framework*, addresses these issues by: - *Integrating Virality into Game Design:* - Embeds strategic pillars like game theory, FOMO, and social mechanics directly into gameplay. - Promotes organic, exponential user growth without relying solely on marketing. - *Enhancing Player Engagement and Retention:* - Offers meaningful decisions and challenges, such as interacting with Lyra to retrieve funds. - Provides a compelling narrative and progressive difficulty to keep players invested. - *Creating a Sustainable In-Game Economy:* - Implements balanced tokenomics and economic incentives (e.g., $DANTE token, NFT marketplace). - Encourages ongoing participation and offers revenue opportunities for both players and developers. - *Fostering Community and Network Effects:* - Builds strong player communities through shared challenges and token drops. - Leverages network effects where the game's value increases as more players join.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into The onchain AI agent performs well on replit as a python script. But since its in a python cli environment, it has to be converted into a flask backend, APIs need to be created and the frontend should talk to the backend and send responses back with a websocket connection to make a chat interface work. Since we have been working on the frontend, the functionality of the onchain AI agent, the smart contracts, and the virality framework itself, we couldn't find the time to convert the agent python files into a working flask backend. So we have hooked up replit directly to the frontend for the presentation.
