Decentralized Autonomous Blogging to revolutionize the community storytelling movement.

    About

The problem it solves Problems that we try to cater to: * Advertising models dominate the publishing industry - even Medium had to resort to nonconsensus paywalls which made most of the writing community shifting from the platform. We try to bring a new business model into the picture. * For writers in traditional publishing model, their road is paved with a lot of hardships: * Very long feedback loops: It takes months to research a book, months spend in researching/editing, then a very long feedback loop to gain vantage on market validation. * Rent-Seeking Middleman: their path is filled with these people including publishers which take a huge chunk of their sale. * For readers: * Fan engagement is kind of died down * Feedback is monotonous and resolved to claps on Medium - which are just signaling values. * Serious readers are not in touch with early age new talent that have the hustle and energy to write but do not have the resources to fund their own book. How it makes existing tasks easier? A writer releases their book chapter by chapter and in each chapter runs a prediction market to see what is the community's feedack. For example: Imagine JK rowling writing the first chapter of Harry Potter and then asking feedback on how she imagined Hogwarts to look like in the second chapter. She puts in some stake in the platform to incentivize early feedback. 5% of the stake is funded to incentivize reading and aearly feedback, the rest of the funding pool is added to the prediction market that is run on top of the different storylines the author thinks to move in. Community starts voting in time-capped voting round to give early feedback to the writer. And is all party to the stake that they can win from the prediction market. How it's made

Challenges we ran into * How do we make voting private to ensure fairness in the market - currently it's hidden away at the interface level. * Game Theory for the consensus mechanism * Tech Level: * Metmask integration * Web3.js + react - no errors gave us a lot pain.
