CURE: Centralized User Registry for Healthcare

Tezos Powers Your Path to Better Health

    About

The problem it solves The Health Record Management System using Tezos blockchain technology solves critical issues in managing health records by enhancing security, privacy, reliability, and transparency. Tezos ensures that data remains unaltered once stored, protecting it from tampering and cyber threats. It uses public-key cryptography to restrict access to authorized individuals only, maintaining strict privacy controls. The system leverages IPFS for decentralized storage, reducing risks associated with centralized data failures and ensuring reliable access. Additionally, Tezos’s transparent governance model allows for clear visibility of record management and updates, fostering trust and accountability in the system.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into During the development of the Health Record Management System using Tezos blockchain technology, we encountered several challenges. Integrating Tezos with IPFS and developing smart contracts presented technical complexities, while ensuring scalability and performance as data volumes grew was demanding. We also faced difficulties in implementing robust privacy controls and complying with health data regulations. Additionally, fostering adoption among users unfamiliar with blockchain technology required significant effort in education and support. Addressing these challenges required innovative solutions and meticulous planning to create a secure and effective system.
