Why are you participating for Based Africa? I got the idea for my project after watching a video by a china based Nigeria content creator and teacher, he was able to use the profits from his videos while still in china to rebuild a classroom in Nigeria, and also provided receipts detailing every amount he spent which i thought was a nice touch as transparency is something we lack here in Nigeria, with that i got the idea to put it all on the blockchain, id just found out about Base and thought this was an opportunity to try and see if i could do it, although my blockchain knowledge is very limited i decided to try, had a lot of hickups with working full time remotely and schooling at the same time but i think i can finish an MVP as the full product as of today is not really possible, hopefully the more i learn i can finish it how i envision it later or maybe someone else could cause i think its a really good idea Additional Features i currently dont know of anything like this so i cant say

How it's made

What challenges are you focusing on? The primary idea is taking the job of nation-building from the government and putting it in the hands of the people, as Nigerians have no faith in the government this platform as i envision it will allow the people to create, fix, and fund local communities projects all over the country, from fixing local schools to water and health, all projects can be created, promoted and funded by the people How does your submission address this challenge? if the entire process is on the blockchain from the sourcing of materials to the actual project is done online and in the public with a clean and full proof way to trace how funds we're disbursed i think more and more Nigerian, would love to support something like this as we have a lot of times contributed to projects raised just on twitter, Challenges we ran into A lot, first of all i didnt really know much about the blockchain, i knew crypto but had never even heard of base before, the main challenge was getting my coinbase API, that took days as i couldn't even create an account, it wasn't up until i think 2 days ago that a friend i met online that lives in the US told me she wanted to help me with the project, funny enough her crypro knowledge was so bad she didn't even know what coinbase or binance was, after that, the build started, my design skills is not so great and i was loosing time trying to figure out how to even set up the project, i wished they was a high quality full tutorial online, but somehow i was able to get the wallet to connect with my vite-react project, i was already getting me stressed out and realized i might not be able to get it how i envision it so i opted for just creating an MVP and proof of concept cause my knowledge is just too limited, with a lot to juggle and learn etc, i decided the idea (that i believe in and even have plans for reducing the likelihood of malicious people although that require more even higher skills than i have) was important enough to at least show to people, so now I'm just trying to finish the UI i have now and then put it online, will definitely try to finish it and plan to learn more about the blockchain
