How it's made
Challenges we ran into Challenges We Ran Into: During the development of CleanChain, we faced a few key technical challenges. 1. AI Model Integration Initially, the system used a dummy impact score. When integrating the YOLO-based garbage detection model, we had issues with model loading and converting detection results into a meaningful cleanup score. We resolved this by restructuring the AI verification module and standardizing image processing and scoring. 2. File Upload & Storage Errors While integrating document storage, uploads sometimes failed due to connection timeouts. We solved this by adding error handling, retry logic, and fallback logging so the platform could continue functioning even if the storage service was temporarily unavailable.
