The problem it solves Certifika is a smart certification platform used to issue digital certificates and badges using **Soulbound tokens (SBT)** technology. It aims to address the ff: **Manual workflows slow down distribution and archiving** - Certifika automates issuance, claiming, and verification. Just scan a QR code—it’s fast, secure, and foolproof. - Easily manage your certificates and badges in one platform. - Since every account in Certifika is basically a wallet, you can export and import it to your favorite web3 wallet apps. **Whether physical or digital, verifying authenticity of certificates is tedious and insecure** - We use blockchain technology to issue credentials that can’t be faked, lost, or changed—ever. They’re secure, verifiable, and belong entirely to the recipient. - You can even create a "phygital" experience, where participants still receive a physical certificate but can easily also claim its NFT version. **Post-event engagement is lost — certificates are rarely shared or celebrated** - Certificates are designed to be shareable and customizable, making them more visible, versatile, and engaging across different platforms and use cases. - Certifika is composable, meaning developers can build on top of Certifika's smart contracts and APIs. Challenges we ran into **Ensuring it can be used by the most common users** - We launched it as a cross-platform mobile app that can be installed and managed easily with higher user retention **Smooth onboarding as possible** - We utilize key splitting with multiple encryption layers following a user experience similar of a web2 app **Gas sponsored on high volume** - Resolved using federated meta-transaction relayers and will be upgrading to EIP7702 soon
