Brain Crypto Interfaces
Think to earn: get paid for providing brain-computer-interface data.
About
The problem it solves ### The Problem It Solves Brain Crypto Interfaces addresses the challenge of incentivizing the collection and use of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) data in a secure, decentralized manner. Traditional methods of gathering BCI data often involve centralized entities, which can pose privacy risks and offer limited compensation to participants. This platform allows BCI owners to monetize their brain data by contributing to the development of open source datasets. ### Use Cases and Benefits #### For BCI Data Buyers: - **Enhanced Model Training:** Data buyers can request specific types of BCI data to improve the training of their machine learning models. - **Diverse Data Collection:** Buyers can create bounties for various media interactions (photos, videos, text, audio), gathering a wide range of data to enhance their models. - **Decentralized Trust:** By using smart contracts, the platform ensures transparent and secure transactions, reducing the need for intermediaries. #### For BCI Owners: - **Monetization Opportunities:** BCI owners can earn rewards by participating in bounties, providing valuable data in exchange for Ether. - **Privacy and Security:** The platform uses Waku communication protocols to ensure secure and private data exchanges. - **Control Over Data:** BCI owners retain control over their data, choosing which bounties to participate in and what data to share. ### Upcoming features - **Decentralized Platform:** An EigenLayer AVS will remove the need for a centralized authority, reducing trust in BountyCreators and ensuring fair compensation for data providers. - **UI for data collection** : Updated UI designed to streamline the data collection process for BCI owners, instead of manual uploads.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into First challenge we faced was creating event listeners for The Graph, got over the hurdle by asking for help from mentors The second was to building an AVS for Eigenlayer to verify whether submitted data fits a format, to minimize trust in the BountyPosters.
