About
The problem it solves The goal with this game was really simple - a fun little game on chain that people have played atleast once in their lives. Here's what I wanted to build - - An onchain Bingo game that allows user to authenticate themselves using their coinbase crypto wallets. - Users could play against the computer or choose to battle a friend in a 1v1 match up. - A player can choose to create a room and share the room code with their friend who would then join the room. The game would begin - The game would have a leaderboard construct in which people would be ranked on basis of their game wins and each leaderboard would run for a specific duration. - Players will have to wager a small amount in order to play their games. Incase of leaderboards, they would run for a specific period of time and the wagered amounts would contribute to the prize pool of the leaderboard. The winning amount would then get disbursed to the winners once the timer has run out. - Incase of 1v1 battles, both players would enter the game by wagering certain amount. In the end whoever wins would end up taking the entire sum. - Once the user has won, there would be a flow to share their winning results which would also include their basenames making it a good marketing move for base and to create awareness about it. I really wish I could have incorporated all of these in the project but i will be really honest here and let you folks know that I was not able to incorporate the web3 elements to it. But the game part of playing against another player and the computer is fully functional and I spent a lot of time in figuring that out. More on this in the challenges section :)
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Well the biggest challenge was coding the whole project :) Let me elaborate. I am a product manager who has a knack for building things. I have built products in the web3 space before but more in the capacity of a product designer and a PM. I really wanted to challenge myself to see if I could actually make use of AI to build something in the hackathon and that is what I did. Every single line of code was written by AI and my task was to provide very specific prompts which would help the model understand the requirements and make the entire thing. I struggled a lot at times when i used to run into errors but thanks to docs and accurate prompting i could figure my way out. I couldn't incorporate all the web3 elements I wanted to but I figured out multiplayer gaming by creating a room using firebase and by tackling a million errors and I think thats my biggest take away from the hackathon. I will keep building this project as this was something i really wanted to build and even though this is not on base at the moment, It will soon be :)
