About
The problem it solves The problem Big Arabian Guild DAO solves The Problems Solved by the Big Arabian Guild (BAG) DAO Our BAG - DAO offers solutions to several key challenges, making tasks easier and more engaging for our community. Here's how it helps: Voting System Problem: Voting processes can be slow and lack transparency. Solution: Our voting system uses blockchain technology for secure and transparent voting. This makes it easy for members to participate in decision-making, ensuring fair and trustworthy outcomes. Hosting Internal Events Problem: Organizing events can be complex and lead to low participation. Solution: Our system streamlines event management. Whether it's tournaments or meetups, members can easily register and participate. Rewards for participation ensure higher engagement and successful events. Reward System Problem: Keeping members engaged and rewarding their contributions can be challenging. Solution: Our reward system offers points for completing quests, daily missions, and special tasks. These points can be redeemed for NFTs, tokens, special roles, and early game access, motivating members to stay active and involved. Knowledge Empowerment Initiative Problem: Access to reliable knowledge is crucial but can be scattered. Solution: Implement comprehensive educational webinars targeting the community to bridge the vast knowledge gap, emphasizing Blockchain, WEB3, and NFT concepts in a simplified manner
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Overcoming Challenges in Building the BAG-DAO During the development of the BAG-DAO, we encountered several challenges specific to Web3 technologies. Here’s how we addressed them: Blockchain Integration Challenge: Integrating blockchain technology for transparent voting and reward distribution was complex. We faced issues with smart contract deployment and ensuring seamless interaction with the blockchain network. Solution: We worked closely with blockchain experts to develop and test our smart contracts. Implementing detailed logging and monitoring tools helped us quickly identify and resolve integration issues. 2. Gas Fee Problem Challenge: High gas fees were a significant barrier, impacting the usability and cost-effectiveness of transactions within our system. Solution: We introduced on-chain sign-in to reduce the number of transactions that required gas fees. This innovative approach helped minimize costs for our users, making the DAO more accessible. 3. RPC Limitation Challenge: The blockchain's limitation on the number of requests to Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs) created bottlenecks and slowed down our system. Solution: To overcome this, we implemented a solution that utilizes multiple RPCs simultaneously. This distributed the load and ensured smoother and faster processing of user requests. Conclusion By addressing these Web3-specific challenges head-on and adopting a collaborative, iterative approach, we successfully built a robust and user-friendly BAG-DAO. These experiences not only improved our technical capabilities but also strengthened our commitment to delivering a seamless and secure experience for our community.
