The problem it solves Individual Personal Data is stored in multiple siloed locations, which makes in static, inaccessible and redundant. This limits an individuals ability to academic, economic and growth opportunities. Our understanding of Personal Identity and Data can be categorised in the bins - National Identity, Work Authorizations, Academic Records, Financial Accounts, Medical History, Assets & Ownership and Social Memberships & Affiliations. Each of these are administered and generated by different organizations and in every category, there are more than one organization which is involved in the issuance, maintenance and verification of a particular form of identity data. Managing, Verifying and Using this data is challenging task for the user and also for the organization trying to verify the individual. BharatID is an industry first unique solution which enables - A Digital Identity Wallet for every individual - Can include any / many types of identity and credentials (as per image 2) - Drives financial inclusion and provision of financial services to under-banked - Consent based data-exchange between two entities hence proecting - End-to-end digital collection of data resulting in faster turn-around-time with business processes - Reduces data-theft by using blockchain DLT technology and user consent
How it's made
Challenges we ran into IN general, it is easier to work with IDEs, though main challenges was to build this for web / mobile interface to make hte solution accesible to the end-user. Wallet integrations, NFT transfers, ABIxJS, IPFS (solved via FileCoin)...
