BBlog.eth
Years ago, you wrote a blog on a platform. Since then, ads were added everywhere, or the platform shut down. Use BBlog.eth for an immutable fully on-chain blog on Base.
About
The problem it solves BBlog.eth use the new web3:// protocol, which is like https://, except that the blockchain is the web server. This means that 100% of your blog in on-chain and immutable : the blog content, but also the blog frontend. It will stays forever as it is, as long as Base lives. This is unlike current on-chain apps, which use frontends served via classic web servers or via IPFS, both of which can dissapear over time. The web3:// protocol is a set of ERC standards (ERC-4804, ERC-6860, ...), with a home at https://web3url.io/
How it's made
Challenges we ran into web3:// is a brand new protocol, and tooling had to be made. A native web3 browser was built : https://github.com/web3-protocol/evm-browser , and a HTTP gateway software was built to view web3:// websites with a HTTP browser.
