About
Why are you participating for Based Africa? My motivation for participating in a hackathon is driven by the desire to learn new skills, collaborate with talented individuals, and tackle real-world problems in a creative and fast-paced environment. I thrive on the challenge of pushing limits, innovating, and building something impactful in a short time frame. It’s also a great opportunity for me to gain exposure to new technologies, network with like-minded people, and potentially open doors to career growth and new opportunities.
How it's made
What challenges are you focusing on? Many Africans who participate in buying meme coins often end up getting rug-pulled due to a lack of transparency, poor regulation, and malicious actors in the crypto space. This issue is exacerbated by limited access to reliable information, making it easier for scam projects to gain traction. Without proper security measures, like contract audits or liquidity locking, and with fewer trustworthy platforms, investors in Africa are more vulnerable to losing their funds to fraudulent projects. How does your submission address this challenge? my submission of Basememes meme token launchpad aims to prevent rug pulls by implementing strict security measures, liquidity locking. This approach ensures transparency, reduces the risk of fraud, and protects investors by making it difficult for malicious actors to exploit the platform. The launchpad fosters a safer crypto environment in Africa, promoting trust and responsible investment while supporting culturally relevant projects. Challenges we ran into we didnt experience any issue beacuse we utilize coinbase smart wallet and wagmi when we developed the project
