How it's made
Challenges we ran into As a new developer building **Based Springs**, a hot springs educational guide, my limited coding skills made it challenging to create a user-friendly UI with aggregated online data like locations and safety tips, without smart contracts (though planned for the future). I struggled with JavaScript and React, as API calls for scraping data from travel blogs and forums often returned inconsistent results, leading to a clunky UI. To overcome this, I used **v0** for rapid UI prototyping, **Cursor** and **Phind** for real-time coding and debugging support, **JesseXBT** for community-driven tips, and **Vercel** for seamless hosting and testing. These tools helped me refine the UI, ensuring users can easily explore and contribute to the guide while keeping the door open for future on-chain features.
