Challenges we ran into In the tumultuous landscape of medieval Jerusalem, where shifting alliances and constant military threats were the norm, Baldwin IV emerged as a beacon of leadership. Afflicted by leprosy, the young king faced not only the challenges of ruling a kingdom but also the pressing need for diplomatic solutions.
