    AutoStack(DCA)

Automated investing without giving up custody.

    About

The problem it solves Crypto investors lack a secure way to automate investment strategies without giving up custody of their funds; we are tyring to solve that via autostack; AutoStack lets you set up recurring token purchases without depositing funds into a vault or trusting a centralized service. You grant a time-bounded, amount-limited permission to a smart contract, and it executes swaps on your behalf at the frequency you specify. The key difference from existing DCA solutions: your tokens never leave your wallet until the moment of each swap. No lockups, no custody risk.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into 1. Implementing Advanced Wallet Permissions Integrating ERC-7715 through the MetaMask Smart Accounts Kit was challenging because the ecosystem is still new. Issues included: Limited documentation Handling session accounts securely Ensuring permission limits (amount + duration) were enforced correctly Managing permission expiry This required careful testing to prevent accidental over-permissioning. 2. Designing a Non-Custodial Automation Model Most DCA protocols simply hold funds in a vault. Building automation while keeping funds in the user’s wallet required a different architecture. Key difficulties: Triggering swaps without traditional custody Managing periodic permissions Ensuring swaps only execute within allowed limits 3. Integrating Smart Money Signals Pulling whale trading signals from Nansen added complexity. Challenges included: Designing a reliable trigger system Filtering meaningful whale activity Preventing spam signals Balancing signal thresholds vs execution speed 4. HTTP Micropayments Integration Using the x402 Protocol required implementing a new payment flow. Problems encountered: Handling HTTP 402 payment responses Processing small USDC micropayments on Solana Avoiding repeated payments with caching 5. Real-Time Indexing for the Dashboard Keeping the frontend synced with blockchain activity required building a real-time indexer using Envio HyperIndex. Challenges: Designing efficient event indexing Updating strategy execution data instantly Avoiding slow polling-based updates 6. Managing Cross-Chain Components The system interacts with multiple ecosystems: Smart contracts on Base Whale data via Nansen Micropayments on Solana Coordinating these components introduced latency and reliability challenges.
