How it's made
Challenges we ran into The first challenge we ran into is which Event should we filter for using viem's eth_getLogs method. Originally, we used the RewardsDepositEvent. However, that method is lacking an indexed field for creator for us to curate on. The SetupNewToken method includes a creator method. However, it's almost always set to a shared, Zora-owned, address. We ultimately decided to use the SetupNewContract event which includes an indexed creator address we could use to quickly & easily index the feed. An additional challenge we faced is what is the best method to curate a zora feed? Decising on a curation mechanism has been one of the biggest challenges we've faced. Public Assembly used ERC721 tokens airdropped to curators. We ultimately decided to create a new schema using the Ethereum Attestation Service to allow one, simple, signature by the curator containing an array of the latest list of creators to be included in the Zora Feed.
