    About

The problem it solves Atproto and Bluesky, emerging technologies in decentralized social media, bring challenges in integrating intelligent bonding curves to dynamically set and maintain the value of posts. These curves evolve based on user engagement (likes, comments, shares), investments, and profits returned to investors, reflecting content worth while rewarding creators. Each post operates on a bonding curve, where prices rise with investments and engagement, and fall with withdrawals or reduced interaction, ensuring prices remain adaptive. Engagement metrics are integral, converting passive actions into economic signals that influence the post’s value. Creators earn royalties and bonuses as their posts thrive, with their track record influencing future base prices, royalties, and reputation. A three-stage attestation system tracks post performance: initial attestations at post creation consider the owner’s history and consistency, ongoing attestations reflect investment and withdrawal activity, and reputation attestations aggregate post success to influence future opportunities. This system provides feedback loops—improving conditions for reputable creators while penalizing declining engagement—to encourage trust and quality. Modular and extensible, the protocol integrates new engagement forms, privacy-preserving features, and multi-chain compatibility, allowing portable reputations and scalable ecosystems. By combining bonding curves with attestation-driven reputation, Atproto and Bluesky offer an innovative model for dynamic, trust-based content ecosystems that reward quality, drive returns, and foster growth.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into **Key Challenges Faced:** 1. **Bonding Curve Complexity:** Designing a bonding curve that fairly prices posts proved difficult. Balancing engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) with investment and profit factors required constant adjustment and iteration to prevent gaming or price distortion. 2. **Integrating Engagement Signals:** Translating raw social activity into meaningful economic inputs was non-trivial. Defining which actions matter most, how to weight them, and how to ensure these signals are trustworthy without central moderation was a challenge. 3. **Fair Compensation for Creators:** Ensuring that post creators were rewarded proportionally to the value generated by their content—without allowing them to exploit the system—meant carefully fine-tuning royalties, base prices, and incentive structures. 4. **Attestation and Reputation Systems:** Developing multi-stage attestations that factor in post performance, user behavior, and historical data introduced complexity. Making these attestations dynamic and impactful enough to guide future pricing and royalties required careful planning. 5. **Interoperability with Emerging Protocols:** Atproto and Bluesky are new and evolving. Integrating with these ecosystems meant dealing with sparse documentation, adapting to changing standards, and ensuring the solution remained modular and future-proof as the underlying protocols matured.
