About
Zivo is a decentralized crypto credit protocol that brings traditional credit card functionality to Web3. It allows users to stake crypto assets like USDC as collateral to open a secured credit line, which they can use for real-world or on-chain payments. Over time, as users demonstrate responsible repayment behavior, their reputation increases, enabling higher credit limits — even moving into unsecured credit territory. Uniquely, Zivo integrates NFC-based hardware (Halo Chip) to enable tap-to-pay transactions directly from the user’s credit balance. This transforms crypto lending from a purely DeFi experience into something that works in everyday life, mimicking the convenience of traditional credit cards. Users can: * Deposit/stake USDC to open a credit line * Spend using their crypto wallet or NFC-enabled device * Pay back borrowed amounts within a 30-day grace period * Earn a reputation that unlocks higher borrowing limits * Use a clean, mobile-first interface powered by React + Privy for seamless onboarding On the other side, lenders provide liquidity to the protocol’s pool and earn interest from repayments, similar to traditional banks — but fully decentralized. Zivo runs on Flow EVM, integrates LayerZero/Stargate for cross-chain collateral support, and uses smart contracts for trustless collateral management, lending, repayments, and credit scoring. In essence, Zivo is building the crypto-native credit card — programmable, composable, and usable anywhere.
