Wei
An autonomous DevOps agent that automates Web3 PR reviews and pays bounties via smart contracts.

About
Wei is a fully autonomous decentralized DevOps agent designed to eliminate the massive reviewer bottleneck in Web3 open-source governance (such as EIPs, GIPs, and RIPs). Currently, protocol upgrades and governance proposals suffer from painfully slow human review cycles and a lack of direct financial incentives for contributors. Wei solves this by providing a unified network where GitHub repositories can attach automated bounty pools to their issues. When a developer submits a Pull Request, Wei doesn't just passively read the code. It dynamically spins up an isolated AI sandbox environment using E2B to securely compile, run static analysis, and verify structural guidelines without any human intervention. Once the PR passes all strict automated checks, our backend acts as an off-chain oracle. It securely triggers our custom WeiBountyVault smart contract deployed on-chain to instantly distribute USDC or GRT directly to the contributor's wallet. To prevent bot-farming and sybil attacks, contributors must verify their unique human identity via World ID before claiming their automated rewards. Wei transforms open source by aligning instant trustless payments with rigorous automated code reviews.
How it's made
Wei is built with a highly decoupled architecture spanning a Next.js frontend, a Node.js backend oracle, and Solidity smart contracts. The user interface is built using React and Framer Motion, featuring a custom 3D roulette wheel to visualize active network bounties and integrated bots. For the core automation, we leverage E2B (Code Execution Sandboxes). Our backend listens to GitHub Webhooks, and upon detecting specific slash commands (e.g., /wei review), it spins up a secure E2B container to run AI-driven static analysis and tests on the submitted PR. For the Web3 infrastructure, we wrote custom Solidity contracts (WeiBountyVault.sol) to handle treasury management and distributions. Our Node.js backend acts as an off-chain oracle using ethers.js to trigger the distributeBounty function once the E2B sandbox returns a success signal. To guarantee Sybil resistance, we integrated @worldcoin/idkit on the frontend. When a user claims a bounty, they generate a Zero-Knowledge proof of humanity, and the resulting nullifierHash is passed to our smart contract to strictly enforce a "one human, one reward per PR" rule, completely neutralizing bot-farming attacks.
