reCEPTION Swap
reCEPTION Swap is a Real-Time Onchain Security Verification Layer for Dexs
Demo
About
The project is driven by reCEPTION Hook, a native smart contract security layer designed to integrate with modern hook-enabled decentralized exchanges (such as Uniswap v4). It acts as a real-time shield, intercepting swap requests to dynamically detect and block malicious smart contracts before the transaction is finalized onchain. Powered by the reCEPTION AI Engine, the hook ensures that liquidity providers and retail users interact only with safe, verified assets, drastically reducing the financial impact of Web3 scams and exploits.
How it's made
reCEPTION Swap is built on Uniswap v4, using a custom reCEPTION Hook integrated with the PoolManager to bring smart contract security verification directly into the swap flow. The hook checks token security status before allowing swaps to proceed, connecting Uniswap v4’s hook architecture with reCEPTION’s existing verification layer. The frontend is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Wagmi, Viem, and the Uniswap SDK v4, while The Graph is used to query pool and liquidity-position data efficiently for the frontend. The broader reCEPTION platform supports multiple networks, including Ethereum and Hedera, with Hedera used by other reCEPTION features for on-chain infrastructure and data storage. The notable part of the implementation is tying an external security verification layer into the Uniswap v4 swap lifecycle so that unsafe or unverified tokens can be intercepted before the swap is finalized, rather than relying solely on a separate security-checking interface.
