    POP

A Uniswap-like prediction market on Arc, using native USDC and powered by Chainlink CRE.

    About

POP is an AMM-based prediction market built on Arc. Instead of matching buyers and sellers through an order book, every market has its own liquidity pool where users can trade outcome tokens continuously and prices move with the market. POP uses Arc-native USDC as the base asset, making markets simple to fund, trade, and settle without introducing another collateral token. Chainlink powers the connection between onchain markets and real-world information, allowing POP to automate market resolution and settlement while also exploring privacy-preserving prediction market flows. The goal is to make prediction markets feel more like open onchain markets: permissionless to create, continuously liquid, composable, and programmable.

    How it's made

POP is built on Arc with smart contracts handling market creation, outcome-token accounting, AMM liquidity, trading, resolution, and redemption. Native USDC is used as the collateral and settlement asset across the entire market lifecycle. When a market is created, liquidity is deposited into an AMM pool and users trade directly against that liquidity. The relative reserves and trading activity determine the market price of each outcome, giving POP continuous onchain price discovery without requiring a traditional order book. Chainlink CRE is used to connect POP's onchain contracts with external data and computation. A CRE workflow can retrieve the information required by a market, apply its resolution logic, and trigger settlement on Arc once the outcome is determined. We also experiment with Chainlink-powered privacy workflows for cases where some market inputs, positions, or data should not be publicly exposed before settlement. The final result can still be brought back onchain for transparent settlement. The frontend connects directly to the Arc contracts, allowing users to create markets, provide liquidity, trade outcomes with USDC, follow changing probabilities, and redeem their positions after resolution.
