Entrotter
A time machine for onchain decisions: compare Uniswap outcomes, gas and reasons to act or hold.
About
Entrotter is a local-first time machine for onchain decisions. Compare four Uniswap actions from the same pinned Ethereum state: a proposed swap, a reduced swap, a strict minimum-output trial, and holding. Actual local Anvil execution yields receipts, gas, balance changes and explicit proceed/hold reasons. In the measured example, 0.2 WETH succeeds but exceeds the 0.1 WETH spending cap; 0.1 WETH receives 370.556838 USDC within the constraints; the strict-minimum trial reverts and spends gas; holding sends no transaction. The updated UFO-themed experiment console integrates this comparison into Entrotter's root website, with browser-only report import, exact evidence and a local command builder. The new screenshots and supplemental silent walkthrough show this version. The updated root website is now live. Website PR #13 was merged as d44af5d01f692e177af055338202695e5930c95f; Pages deployment succeeded, and the public files match the tested source. Website: https://entrotter.github.io/ . Supplemental video: https://github.com/entrotter/entrotter/releases/tag/tokyo-continuity-demo . The optional official video field is omitted because the supplemental recording has no spoken audio. Continuity Track: the broader Entrotter concept, existing codebase and purple UFO artwork predate Tokyo. New comparison functionality and the integrated root UI extend the existing repositories. Earlier code, artwork and recordings are not claimed as newly created. Engine: https://github.com/entrotter/engine/tree/42204e0c8091143e08f9f6525cbfebde741fb74a/tokyo . Viewer: https://github.com/entrotter/entrotter.github.io/tree/771670917494a4ae0d05a9cced240141e4bdf792 . Disclosure: https://github.com/entrotter/entrotter/tree/docs/tokyo-continuity/submission/tokyo2026 . Engine PR #25 and coordination PR #49 remain review branches; website PR #13 is merged and the root update is deployed. Codex authored/assisted the implementation, UI, tests, documentation and media under the owner's specification and decisions. No runtime LLM is used. This is local decision testing, not a forecast, historical market replay, or profit claim. This entry seeks Uniswap partner prizes only.
How it's made
Python's standard library and Foundry 1.8.3 power the comparison runner. An allowlisted read-only RPC proxy supplies Ethereum block 23,000,000, pinned by hash, to a process-owned loopback Anvil. The runner verifies contracts and decimals, discloses artificial funding and impersonation, wraps WETH and approves the exact input. Each alternative restores one snapshot and checks balances, nonce, allowance, pool slot0 and liquidity. Explicit timestamps make setup receipts reproducible. The integration uses Uniswap v3 SwapRouter exactInputSingle and factory pool lookup. Receipts, gas and WETH/USDC/ETH deltas feed deterministic spending/output/gas checks. A clean extraction reproduced receipts and deltas; 24 comparison unit/report tests and five real archive/lifecycle checks passed. We fixed timestamp drift and disclose that Anvil's local state root is uncomputed. The smaller swap used slightly more gas, a measured tradeoff retained in the evidence. Plain HTML/CSS/JavaScript integrates the comparison into the existing root website and preserves the earlier v0.1 explorer. The validator checks report digests, arithmetic, receipts and calldata. The root update passed 11 Python site checks and 29 Node report checks, plus desktop/mobile browser checks for imports, malformed data, downloads, command input, legacy reports, keyboard navigation and reduced motion. The interface uses the existing UFO artwork with new orbital visuals. No transaction runs from the website. Prior work, AI assistance, specifications and limitations remain disclosed.
