    AgentPass

AgentPass: a human-backed AI agent that pays to check your DeFi risk.

    About

AgentPass is a web app for safely getting an actionable DeFi risk check. A user verifies that they are human with World ID, then gives a named agent its own limited spending budget. The agent queries live lending positions across Aave and Compound through The Graph, computes a reasoned risk score and recommendation, and returns the result with a verifiable payment receipt. Instead of trusting an API key or a black-box dashboard, users can see the agent identity, activity, budget, payment, and analysis in one continuous flow. The same service can also be discovered and called by other agents.

    How it's made

We built AgentPass as a pnpm TypeScript monorepo with a Next.js dashboard, a Hono API, and reusable packages for identity, data, payments, verification, and discovery. The Graph Subgraph MCP and Messari standardized lending schema provide live Aave V3 and Compound V3 positions; a risk engine converts those positions into factors, a 0-100 score, and a recommendation, with 60-second caching to protect the free tier. The API is protected by x402: an unpaid request returns 402 pricing metadata, the agent checks its HBAR session budget, signs a Hedera testnet payment through the Blocky402 facilitator, retries with X-PAYMENT, and receives a receipt. World ID gates spending authority, ENSv2 on Sepolia gives the agent a permissioned onchain identity, and Bazantic exposes it for agent discovery. A notable implementation detail is that every sponsor integration is a step in the same user action rather than a collection of disconnected demos.
