Zunno
Blockchain's 1st Uno game
About
The problem it solves Traditional online card games like UNO depend on centralized servers, where the game state is hidden and controlled by a single authority. This raises concerns around fairness, cheating, and trust, as players have no way to independently verify the gameplay. By adapting UNO on-chain, we solve this problem using blockchain’s transparency and immutability. Every game action is recorded as a public transaction, making the entire gameplay verifiable and tamper-proof. This ensures fairness, prevents hidden actions, and builds trust among players without relying on a central authority. How it's made
Challenges we ran into One of the biggest challenges was synchronizing user activity across multiple games in real time, while ensuring that no player’s actions got stuck or lost in the process. Managing multiple game rooms running in parallel required careful design to keep gameplay smooth and responsive. Another key challenge was perfecting the game logic itself and making sure edge cases were handled correctly without breaking the flow of the game.
