    ZK-Fund-A Transparent Fundraising Platform

ZK-Fund: Empowering anonymous and secure donations with Zero-Knowledge Proofs, ensuring privacy for donors while maintaining transparency in fundraising milestones.

    About

The problem it solves Traditional crowdfunding platforms lack privacy for donors, exposing their identities and contributions, which may discourage participation. At the same time, ensuring transparency in how funds are raised and used is a critical challenge. ZK-Fund solves this by: Allowing donors to contribute anonymously using Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), protecting their privacy. Ensuring the total funds and milestone achievements are publicly verifiable without revealing individual contributions. Leveraging blockchain technology for trust, transparency, and decentralization in fundraising.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into Understanding and implementing Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs): The complexity of creating circuits and generating valid proofs was a steep learning curve. Smart contract deployment on zk-friendly testnets: Encountered compatibility and gas calculation issues when deploying contracts on networks like zkSync Era and Polygon zkEVM. Frontend and wallet integration: Handling account switching, rejected transactions, and network mismatches disrupted the user experience. Mocking ZK proofs for demonstration: Computational demands of real ZK proof generation were a challenge within the hackathon timeframe.
