This is often driven by **FOMO – Fear Of Missing Out**. * **Too much confusing information:** The crypto world is full of conflicting news, social media posts, and signals, making it hard to know what to trust. * **Relying on luck or emotion:** Instead of a plan, many investors make rushed decisions based on what they hear or how they feel, leading to losses. --- ## How Xanthrex Makes It Easier Xanthrex uses **smart AI** to help you in four simple steps: 1. **Test Your Ideas:** Have a hunch about how a crypto coin behaves? You can simply type it in, like "Ethereum surges 10% before big announcements." Xanthrex will then check if your idea is true using past data. This lets you see if your investment strategy actually works before you put money into it. 2. **Get Notified First:** Tell Xanthrex what you're looking for (e.g., "Alert me when major Ethereum announcements are scheduled"). The AI constantly watches the market for you. The second your conditions are met, you'll get an instant alert by email or message. No more missing out or finding out too late! 3. **Cut Through the Noise:** Instead of spending hours sifting through countless news articles and social media posts, Xanthrex filters out all the irrelevant stuff. You only get the information that truly matters to your specific investment plans. 4. **Invest with Confidence:** By testing your strategies and getting timely alerts, you can make informed decisions based on data, not just emotion or hype. How it's made

Challenges we ran into ## Hurdles We Faced Building Xanthrex **We started Xanthrex before the hackathon, and during the event, a big focus was adding XMTP chat to the app. We're also working on sending alerts directly to XMTP, not just email.** Building Xanthrex wasn't always smooth sailing. Here are the main problems encountered and how they were solved: ### 1. Getting AI Agents to Work Together **The Problem:** We wanted our **AI agents** to talk to each other and cooperate automatically. But sometimes, their answers were random, which made teamwork tough. **How We Fixed It:** We spent a lot of time fine-tuning these **AI agents**. We adjusted how they understood requests and made sure they consistently built on each other's responses to give reliable results. --- ### 2. Explaining What We Do Clearly **The Problem:** Even with a powerful tool, it was hard to simply explain *why* Xanthrex is so useful. Finding that perfect, clear message was a challenge. **How We Fixed It:** We tried many different ways to describe our value. We tested these ideas with potential users to see what clicked. This feedback helped us find the clearest and most convincing message. --- ### 3. High Costs and Data Limits **The Problem:** Using advanced AI and connecting to many data sources quickly got expensive. We often ran into **rate limits** (meaning we couldn't access data fast enough) which stopped us from fully testing some features. **How We Fixed It:** We made our system super efficient to use fewer resources. For features needing pricier data access, **we put aside certain tests for now.** Our plan is to secure funding and subscribe to enterprise-level LLM and API offers. This will remove rate limit issues and allow for more comprehensive testing in the future. --- ### 4. Tricky Chat Integration (XMTP) **The Problem:** Adding the XMTP chat itself was quite difficult. The **integration was complex**, making it hard to get everything working as expected. **How We Fixed It:** We put in a lot of effort to understand XMTP's intricacies and updated our system step by step. We successfully added a **secure chat** feature. This means users, like a portfolio manager, can now discuss strategies directly and privately with clients right within the platform. We are a team of three people. I am the **CTO** with solid experience from large Swiss and French companies, and I've helped many startups build their products. We also have a **Crypto and Forex Trading Specialist**, and a **CEO** with strong business experience who teaches at a business school.
