The problem it solves ## Empowering Web3 App Development ### What is Thirdmart? Thirdmart empowers creators by enabling the development of web3 apps, such as swaps, bridges, and more, using intuitive visual composers. It bridges the gap between the abundance of blockchain engineers and the shortage of frontend engineers with web3 expertise, enhancing security, improving efficiency, and elevating user experience. ### Key Features and Benefits #### 1. **Visual Composers** - **Ease of Use**: With Thirdmart's visual composers, you can modify elements to create your web3 apps. This reduces the need for deep programming knowledge and speeds up development. - **Intuitive Design**: The visual interface is user-friendly, allowing even those with minimal technical skills to create sophisticated applications. #### 2. **Blockchain Integration** - **Seamless Integration**: Easily connect your applications to popular blockchains like Ethereum, BSC, and more. #### 3. **Pre-built Templates and Components** - **Time-Saving**: Choose from a variety of pre-built templates and components to jumpstart your project. This reduces development time and effort. - **Customization**: Templates are fully customizable, ensuring that your application meets your specific needs and branding requirements. #### 4. **Secure Development Environment** - **Built-In Security**: Thirdmart integrates best security practices into its framework, helping to safeguard your applications from vulnerabilities. - **Regular Updates**: The platform will regularly update its security protocols to protect against emerging threats. ### Use Cases #### 1. Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) Create and deploy your own DEX with customized interfaces and functionalities, streamlining the process for users to swap tokens. #### 2. Cross-Chain Bridges Develop bridges to facilitate asset transfers between different blockchains, enhancing interoperability and user convenience. #### 3. DeFi App Such as lending platforms, yield farming tools, and more

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into #### The Hurdle While building Thirdmart, I encountered a minor issue with the OnchainKit Swap React component. It didn't allow for customization of the UI, which was essential for the platform's flexibility and user experience. #### The Solution To overcome this challenge, I decided to reverse engineer the swap implementation from the npm package. Here's how I approached it: **1. Understanding the Package**: - Carefully analyzed the existing OnchainKit package and the Swap React component context to understand its structure and functionality. **2. Reverse Engineering**: - Deconstructed the swap component to identify the core logic and dependencies. - Rebuilt the swap functionality from the ground up, incorporating the necessary customizations to fit Thirdmart's requirements. **3. Implementation**: - Created a customized version of the swap component that allowed for flexible UI adjustments. - Integrated this custom component into the Thirdmart platform, ensuring it met our design (Not necessarily the best, haha) and functionality standards. #### The Outcome This approach not only resolved the issue but also provided a deeper understanding of the underlying technology structure, making it a fun task. ### Key Takeaway Encountering and solving this challenge highlighted the importance of flexibility and customization in web3 development. It also underscored the value of reverse engineering as a powerful tool for overcoming limitations in third-party packages.
