    About

The problem it solves # The Problem Event organizers spend months building experiences, sponsors invest thousands to reach their audience, and attendees travel far for valuable connections – but the moment the event ends, organizers lose their community, sponsors lose touch with prospects, and attendees can't continue the conversations that just sparked, wasting everyone's investment in a single moment. # The Solution: Afterparty ## 🗺️ **Geo-Located NFT Access** - Attendees claim location-verified NFT tokens at the event venue - NFTs serve as proof of attendance and unlock exclusive event chat access - Creates authentic, verified communities of actual attendees ## 💬 **XMTP-Powered Persistent Communities** - Secure, decentralized messaging using XMTP protocol - Direct wallet-to-wallet communication - Users own their data and conversations - Chat continues indefinitely after the event ends ## 🤝 **Multi-Stakeholder Networking** - **Attendees** can ask follow-up questions and continue discussions - **Event organizers** maintain ongoing community engagement - **Sponsors** build lasting relationships with their target audience - All parties stay connected in one persistent space ## 🧠 **Custom Knowledge Base** - Event-specific knowledge repository - Stores presentations, speaker information, and key discussion points - Searchable database of event content and insights ## 🤖 **Afterparty AI Bot** - Intelligent assistant trained on event-specific content - Answers questions about topics discussed during the event - Provides context and references from panels and presentations - Available 24/7 to help attendees recall and explore event insights ## 🔄 **Continuous Value** Transform one-time events into year-round communities where relationships grow, insights deepen, and the conversation never ends.

    How it's made

Challenges we ran into One of the key technical challenges I encountered was implementing image messaging within the XMTP protocol, which is text-based. I solved this by converting images to base64 encoding, allowing them to be transmitted and stored as text strings while maintaining image quality and compatibility across the decentralized messaging system.
