SwarmPM
Decentralized Deno package registry, based on Swarm and ENS.
About
The problem it solves Most programming environments have some kind of a package manager. Most of them have a centralized registry ran by a private company. This imposes a number of risks, such as unexpected outages, lack of control over the infrastructure, security risks, censorship and many more. Deno, a runtime for JavaScript, stands out. It imports modules directly from HTTP URLs. SwarmPM takes this idea further and uploads JavaScript modules on a decentralized storage network called Swarm and ENS as a version registry.
How it's made
Challenges we ran into Setting up a Swarm Bee light node, funding and starting it. Safe multi-sig integration, delegate + owner setup.
